Why Pagorin
Public bodies, school boards, colleges and the agencies that work for them publish thousands of PDFs a year: minutes, forms, reports, notices. Most were never tagged, and the deadlines for fixing that are now on the calendar. Remediation by hand costs several dollars a page, and a tagged file is only as good as the check that follows it.
Pagorin takes a narrower, more honest position: repair what can be repaired automatically, have an independent checker test the result, and say plainly what still needs a person. The AI proposes; fixed rules and the checker decide. No document is called "compliant".
Where we are
Pagorin is new. The pilot is how we learn what real documents from real organisations look like, and what the first full version must do. We publish our test numbers on How it works, including the ones that are not flattering.
